“Water defines the architecture of human emotions. It is the only element that allows you to submerge inside the earth. Water contains a molecular deepness so integral to the human design that our strongest feelings express it in our tears. Our bodies are literally moving pools of water. From our liquid womb of conception to spiritual baptism. No childhood memory is without floating, swimming, sinking and splashing. The human matrix is intimately reflected by water in great storms and steamy sexuality, driving our thirst for this fluidic essence that guides man’s nature into reflective transcendent tranquility and the all encompassing rages of passion. Thus the challenge to encapsulate that which flows: to create careening crashing cascades, crystal clear glossy spills, brilliantly lit dancing sprays and dark silent voids of liquid space.”
